I don’t want any engraving on the body of the 3Dvarius.

We can 3D print a 3Dvarius without any engraving. Please contact us so that we can handle your request.

Can you engrave my logo on the 3D body of the 3Dvarius?

Yes, it’s possible. However, you’ll need to provide your logo in a vector file format (such as .ai or .eps) so that we can integrate it into our design file.

Does the 3Dvarius come equipped with a BTS pickup?

We used Barbera pickups in the past until we achieved the same sound quality with our X pickups. All current 3Dvarius violins now come with an X pickup.

What strings are installed on the 3Dvarius? And how can I replace them?

We do not list specific string brands, as we depend on our supplier’s restocking. We generally use Thomastik Vision or Vision Solo strings, but sometimes we also use D’Addario or Super Sensitive. All ball-end violin strings are compatible with our electric violins. I want a 3Dvarius that matches the dimensions of my classical violin. How can I do that?

We provide a document to help you measure your classical violin. You can download it here. We’ll use your measurements to recreate the 3D file for your 3Dvarius.

How do I clean my 3Dvarius?

Use a soft microfiber cloth to remove rosin dust or any other residue. Do not apply chemicals to your instrument, as they may damage the protective varnish.

Is the bridge leaning, misaligned, or tilted?

Please follow our video tutorial to properly straighten your bridge. Before starting, we recommend loosening the strings and applying a small amount of graphite from a pencil under each groove that holds the strings at the bridge level. This will make the adjustment easier and help prevent string breakage.

What are the delivery times?

Production and delivery times for the 3Dvarius are special cases, as each instrument is printed individually based on the violinist’s needs and preferences. Delivery times vary by continent: around 3–4 days in Europe via carrier, 5–7 days for North America, and more than 7 days for other continents.
