Eduardo Bortolotti

Originally from Mexico and living for several years in Poland, Eduardo is a Jazz and contemporary music violinist, composer and music educator. He graduated with a master’s degree in Jazz violin from the prestigious Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice (Poland).

As a soloist and group leader, he has played many festivals in various parts of the world. He has been invited to represent his country (Mexico) in places like: China, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Cyprus, the Czech Republic or Slovakia.

In December 2020, Eduardo Bortolotti released his first album entitled “Huapango Nights”. The album mixes contemporary jazz with elements of traditional Mexican folklore.

As a teacher, Eduardo has provided many different music workshops for different institutions around the world. By example, he lectured in China at the Beijing Academy of Contemporary Music.
