4 to 7 String Electric Violins
The Colored Line range consists of electric violins with 4, 5, 6, or 7 strings, sharing the same specifications as the Original Line, but distinguished by their beautifully colored wooden body.
Like the Original Line, the Colored Line is equipped with our “S Pickup.” This pickup features sensors positioned beneath each string for an accurate and faithful sound reproduction.
The resulting tone is clear, balanced, and warm, free from unwanted noise or interference.
Instrument Design
The Original and Colored Line ranges were designed for optimal comfort. The instrument’s balance was carefully developed to reduce player fatigue. The weight distribution is directed toward the lower part of the instrument — the section that rests on the shoulder — which helps prevent arm, wrist, and hand strain.
Each Colored Line is made from a single piece of wood. We use ash or walnut, depending on availability from our French supplier.
Colors & Customization
The body of the Colored Line is typically available in three glossy finishes: white, black, and red. Other colors are also possible — please visit our Custom Shop for more details.
You can also choose the color of the tuning pegs. They are available in chrome or black finishes. The selected color is applied to the pegs, jack output, volume button, and pickup. Gold pegs are also available upon request — contact us for more information.
Strap System
The Colored Line can be equipped with a strap system designed to secure the electric violin on the player’s shoulder using a guitar strap. The shoulder rest support includes two fastening points for attaching the strap.
This system enhances stage mobility, allowing the violinist greater freedom to move, sing, dance, and perform with ease.
