Shipping methods and countries
3Dvarius ships its products in most countries and continents around the world. Some countries are not supported from our website. We invite you to contact us if you would like delivery to one of these countries.
Shipments are done from Monday to Friday, except musical instruments which are sent from Monday to Thursday.
Shipping is done via different carriers:
- Shipping by post for strings, pickups and other small items: Post Office (no tracking).
- Standard shipping in France (excluding overseas territories), in Europe, in the USA, in the United Kingdom and in Canada: Colissimo or Chronopost (with a tracking number). Delivery of the package is done with the signature of the recipient.
- Standard shipping in other countries (EU and non EU): UPS, FedEx, DHL or another carrier (with trackin number) Delivery of the package is done with the signature of the recipient.
The tracking number of each shipping is sent by email when the package has been collected by the carrier. Note that we don’t have a tracking system for the normal postal sending.
Each order is sent to the shipping address provided by the customer during his order. The address has to be the customer’s home address, the address of another person of his choice, or the address of the address of a legal entity (company). We cannot ship to hotels, PO boxes, military bases or other buidling needing special accreditations. The address has to be provided in latin alphabet.
Some musical instruments and accessories are produced or ordered on-demand. This time is specified on the product page. It could be extended exceptionally due to annual closing of our company (Christmas, annual leaving, bank holidays). The shipping time is then different according to the shipping country and the selected shipping option.

The deadlines mentioned are given for information purposes only. We cannot guarantee delivery times done by a third party carrier. Delays may extend due to the time required for customs clearance of your package.
All orders shipped outside the European Union are billed and paid without taxes. Please note that customs taxes and administrative fees can be requested at the reception of the package, depending on the shipping country policy. They are calculated when the package passes through customs and depend on your country, the amount of your order, the products ordered, and sometimes the state in which you live. These charges are calculated according to the policy in force in the country. We cannot calculate these fees which depend on the laws instituted in each country, and sometimes in each state. To have an estimate of these taxes, it is advisable to contact the customs of the country of destination.
Since Brexit, all UK orders are charged without UK VAT. Customs taxes and administrative fees can be requested at the reception of the package
We let you try your electric violin or cello at home for 3 weeks starting from the date of receipt. Should you not be satisfied, you may return the instrument for an exchange or a refund.
Other products are subject to the minimum legal consumer withdrawal period in force in France. It is 14 days currently. The 14-day period begins the day after the conclusion of the contract or delivery of the goods.
Shipping costs for the return of your products are at your own expense and will not be refunded.
How to request an exchange or a refund?
If you wish to return an instrument, make sure you received it less than 3 weeks ago. For any other product, make sure to respect the minimum legal withdrawal period.
To request a return, have your order number ready and write to us either by responding to the email detailing your order or by using our contact form.
Any returned product must be returned in good condition with all accessories received.
Please note, digital products, strings where the protective packaging has been removed or having been installed on an instrument, and personalized musical instruments are neither exchangeable nor refundable. They do not benefit from a right of withdrawal according to article L 121-21-8 3° of the French Consumer Code.
