How To Loop Country Roads

This is a looper tutorial to loop with one electric violin and one looper pedal the song ‘Country Roads‘ by John Denver.

“Country Roads”, also known as “Take Me Home” or “Take Me Home, Country Roads”, is a song written by Bill Danoff, Taffy Nivert, and John Denver. It was released by John Denver on April 12, 1971, peaking at number 2 on Billboard’s US Hot 100 singles.

In order to help you, the tutorial is separated in 3 parts:

  • Listening of the complete loop
  • Listening of each loop separately
  • Recording of the complete loop

It uses 3 different tracks:

  • Loop1 – Track1: Bass
  • Loop2 – Track2: Pizz
  • Loop3 – Track3: Accompaniment

When each track is recorded, you can play the melody of Country Roads. Feel free to improvise by stopping tracks, using more effects, etc.
